As an avid viewer of ASOP, Fernando Gardon did not expect that when he joined the competition, he would bag the main prize.

It was his first time to join a song writing contest; although he has been in the music business for quite some time.

“Patawarin Mo Ako”, his song entry for this year’s grand finals, is about the curiosity of man and how it often leads him to sin against God. The beauty of the song lies in how sincere a person is in acknowledging and admitting that he has done wrong.

Prince of RnB Kris Lawrence, layers his soulful voice to Ferdie’s composition that gives it a heartfelt version.
