Song Story

The need to finance his studies prompted Joseph Ponce to enter his song into the ASOP competition.

Fortunately, his song qualified in the weekly elimination and even won the main prize at the monthly final.

He still could not believe that his composition had been chosen by the judges.

Both the melody and lyrics just flowed out of him one night enabling him to finish the whole song at four in the morning.

The message of Joseph’s song is his firm belief that God loves him despite his lowliness. Although he doesn’t know the reason behind it, he just thanks God and trusts Him with all his heart.
