Song Story

 The songwriting competition, A Song of Praise Music Festival rekindled the unsung melodies in Wilfredo Gaspar’s head that he has put aside in the past nine years.
 
Through watching the contest and considering the advice of the judges about song composition, Wilfredo was able to arrange “Ikaw Pala”, a wonderful musical piece that exalts the works of God in the lives of mankind. 

The judges picked up on the song’s catchy title that rouses interest, as well as its distinct melodic ranges that amplify the message and personality of the composition.

After his successful attempt, Wilfredo made revisions on lyrical construction based on the suggestions of the panel to make the piece stand out in the monthly round.

Upon winning, Wilfredo was teary-eyed and astounded by the recognition he received. He is thankful for the acknowledgement of his craft and expressed endless gratitude for all the blessings that he has now.
