As of this writing, Tim Pavino is leading the ASOP poll earning with 33.93% of the votes followed by Mela with 18.15%, while Bugoy Drilon places third with the 14.93%. This is a partial result from the ongoing ASOP Year 5 online voting for People’s Choice which started last October 25, 2016.
Meanwhile, the same artists advance in the power viewing battle: Mela’s YouTube video of Noemi Ocio’s “Kumapit Ka Lang” tops the race with 18.60% putting Tim Pavino’s “Ikaw Lamang”of Jonathan Sta. Rita on the second spot with 16.14%. Bugoy Drilon stays at third garnering 9.78% for “God Will Always Make A Way” of Glenn Bawa and Ronald Calpis.
The result of the votes and power viewing count will determine this year’s People’s Choice. The winning piece for this category will receive a cash prize of 50,000 pesos with a plaque of appreciation.
Online voting and power viewing will be closed right after the last song presentation at the Finals Night on November 7 at Smart-Araneta Coliseum.
