Roxas’ entry Salamat Po Ama was a favorite among judges for its unique lyrical approach and commercially appealing melody.
Guest judge Jaime Rivera commended the relevant message of the song which talks about appreciating God’s purpose in the face of adversity.
Judge Mon del Rosario even gave it a 10/10 rating, making it a formidable contender at the grand finals.
Salamat Po Ama bested Buhay Sa’Yong Piling by Genio Dy and Sa’yo Lang Natagpuan by James Vincent Dizon.
